Joint Secretary MoPNG, ED-OISD visit Mumbai Offshore

Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Sunil Kumar and Executive Director of the Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) Arun Mittal visited Mumbai on 14 May 2022 to take stock of the operations underway at ONGC’s western offshore units. Mr Kumar and Mr Mittal visited Rig VK-1 and the BPA process complex, accompanied by ED- Asset Manager (MH Asset) C Mathavan, ED-Asset Manager (B&S Asset) Ravi Shankar, ED-CDS (SW) VV Prasad, GGM (D) SK Singh, CGM (P)-HOS I Sengupta, GGM, Apurva Chaturvedi, Surface Manager (B&S) Kuldip Mukherji, CGM (P) Head-HSE (B&S) Uday Deole and other senior officers.

On arrival at BPA, Mr Kumar was accorded a warm welcome by ED- Asset Manager (MH Asset) C Mathavan with a shawl while Mr Mittal was felicitated by ED-Asset Manager (B&S Asset) Ravi Shankar. The conference began with a detailed presentation by Mr Mukherji on the operations of the western offshore, including exploration and production activities, infrastructures, development chronology of B&S Asset, and the processing facilities at the BPA process complex.
